MFA is on the way!

Multifactor authentication (MFA) will be rolled out to WAAMS users over the coming month.  The introduction of MFA when logging into WAAMS provides an added layer of security protection, similar to what you will have encountered when using internet banking and other similar services.

Over the coming weeks, the WAAMS login page will change, and users will have the option to set up and login to WAAMS using MFA.

A three-month transition period will apply, during which users can opt to set up their MFA or continue to login using the current username and password method.  At the conclusion of the three month transition, MFA registration and login will be mandatory for all WAAMS Users.

The user guide below shows how you will be able to set up your MFA login and includes some frequently asked questions.

Please contact the Apprenticeship Office on 13 19 54 (option 1) if you have any questions.

How to Use WAAMS MFA

Removal of paper-based forms - effective 1 March 2024

Over the period of an apprenticeship or traineeship training contract, it may be necessary to make changes to the training contract.
From 1 March 2024, the paper based forms will be phased out and all training contract change requests must be submitted digitally through the WAAMS portal.

In most instances, submitting a change via the WAAMS portal gives stakeholders the ability to have the requests instantly approved, replacing the requirement to submit forms by email and resulting in much faster response times.

Our team is available for training sessions and/or calls to address any questions or concerns that may arise during this transition.

Additionally, user guides on how to submit training contract changes via the WAAMS portal are available to view:
