The way you sign in to the WAAMS Portal is changing.

From 29 November 2024, all new WAAMS Portal accounts will be created with Multi-factor authentication (MFA) as their default sign-in method.

For existing users, it is strongly recommended that you register for WAAMS MFA as soon as possible, as the existing (email and password) sign in process will be removed in early 2025.

To do so, just click on the 'Sign in with WAAMS MFA' button to the right.

This important initiative adds additional security to your account.

Please contact the Apprenticeship Office on 13 19 54 (option 3) if you experience any issues registering for MFA.

WA Apprenticeship Management System

The Western Australian Apprenticeship Management System (WAAMS) online client portal provides a quick and easy way to view training contract details, request changes to the training contract, and update personal or organisational details. Employers can also view information about the Jobs and Skills WA Employer Incentive and submit incentive claims for eligible training contracts that have reached their payment milestones.

Apprenticeship Office News

Removal of paper-based forms - effective 1 March 2024

Over the period of an apprenticeship or traineeship training contract, it may be necessary to make changes to the training contract.
From 1 March 2024, the paper based forms will be phased out and all training contract change requests must be submitted digitally through the WAAMS portal.

In most instances, submitting a change via the WAAMS portal gives stakeholders the ability to have the requests instantly approved, replacing the requirement to submit forms by email and resulting in much faster response times.

Our team is available for training sessions and/or calls to address any questions or concerns that may arise during this transition.

Additionally, user guides on how to submit training contract changes via the WAAMS portal are available to view:
